Lattes & Laptops creates a safe space for women creative entrepreneurs

What happens when four Chicago-based friends who just so happen to be creative entrepreneurs move across the country to different cities joined forces in the name of collaboration?… magic.

One day. Four cities. Ten creatives. Lattes & Laptops, a signature event series made for and by creatives, is the brainchild of Empire Life Magazine, Jane Ella Productions, Creative Colab and Queensview Creative Studios. In hopes to come together, cowork and collaborate, Lattes and Laptops set the tone with handpicked venues and curated vibes that embody the host’s brand.

Taking place in cities like Grand Rapids, MI, Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA and the homebase of Chicago, IL, on Saturday, August 12th, small groups of women gathered to strike conversations surrounding entrepreneurship, productivity and creativity in order to plan more efficiently within their own brands moving forward. Hosts created custom worksheets to assess attendees’ professional pressure points in order to open the floor to provide constructive feedback. Priceless connections were cultivated and refreshed as new and old business besties came together to map out plans to knock out goals.

What makes an event like Lattes & Laptops unique is simply that it’s rooted in collaboration through and through. Hosts had the opportunity to brainstorm as a collective to decide the core spirit of the event itself but had the freedom to instill their own personal style and flair by choosing venues and small touches that attendees appreciated.
