If you don’t update your apps much, you totally wouldn’t know why Charlemagne The God may very well give Instagram Donkey of The Day tomorrow morning.
Today, Instagram unveiled “Instagram Stories”.
According to their blog posted today,
With Instagram Stories, you don’t have to worry about overposting. Instead, you can share as much as you want throughout the day — with as much creativity as you want. You can bring your story to life in new ways with text and drawing tools. The photos and videos will disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your profile grid or in feed.
Sounds… familiar to say the least. Stepping on the toes of our beloved Snapchat, Instagram has swagger jacked Snap’s almost entire interface. We didn’t see filters and geotags anywhere but we’re pretty sure it’s on its way one of these days.
Amongst all of this social media beef, the people of #BlackTwitter and all over the internet have mixed feelings about this new update:
