31 days. 31 Women. 31 Profiles of Success: Ayori Selassie

Following in her family’s footsteps, Ayori Selassie is setting the tech world ablaze. The self-taught program developer began learning to code by the tender age of 11. With a love for the internet and it’s evolving structure, it only made sense to move into website development. Giving credit to her brother for exposing her to HTML in her early teens, she began developing sites for small to mid-level firms.

For the last 16 years, Ayori has worked in the tech industry and has multiple companies vying for her expertise in technical engineering, product management and business analysis. Not only is Ayori Selassie an inspiration for all young girls and women with high aspirations, but she is also a virtual mentor for tech savvy entrepreneurs.
